Our Process
1. Request a Catalogue
Use our contact form to request a DIY Hire catalogue. This details everything that’s available as part of this service. Can’t find what you want? You may need our Venue Styling service instead.
2. Take Your Pick!
Complete your order form, selecting the items you’d like to hire and noting down the quantities required. We’ll check availability and create an itemised quote. This will include details of a refundable security deposit, the value of which is dependent on the items you hire. This deposit will be returned within 10 working days of the hire items being returned to our showroom.
3. Upgrade Your Styling
We know pretty paper goods can finish a look and elevate a space, so when you use our DIY Hire service, you also have the option to purchase bespoke wedding stationery.
4. Confirm Your Booking
To secure your booking, you’ll need to sign your contract and pay a 25% deposit. You’ll then receive official confirmation from us that everything is in the diary and your DIY hire items have been reserved.
5. Visit Our Showroom
Roughly three months before your wedding, you’ll have the option to book a showroom appointment. If you’re hiring a few different items, this is your opportunity to view them together and see everything alongside pieces you bring from home.
6. Final Tweaks
Eight to ten weeks before your wedding, we’ll get in touch to confirm numbers and check whether your needs have changed. The final balance is due six week before your wedding.
7. Style Your Wedding, Your Way
Once you’ve collected your hire items from our showroom in Loughborough, you’re free to set-up and style your wedding to look exactly as you’ve imagined.
8. Return Your DIY Hire Items
After your wedding, your hire items must be returned in their original packaging on the specified return date. This can be done by a family member or friend, but they should be prepared to remain on site while items are counted back in. Any discrepancies will be emailed to you once everything has been checked for damage.
